Harmoney is broken up into two sessions two weeks apart, each one covering numerous topics about your past, present and future to help you communicate about money in your marriage.
Day 1
Start from the beginning. Harmoney begins with your financial pasts. Disclosures, Financial Personalities, and Financial Ancestry are important parts of this comprehensive discussion.
Day 2
Planning the transition. This section deals with helping you face some of the logistical challenges of merging your assets. Accounts, record keeping arrangements, a marriage checklist and a starter budget are all part of this section.
Looking ahead. Harmoney concludes with a conversation about your future financial lives. You will determine financial goals in accordance to your shared values, discuss dealing with future financial hardship, and learn how to talk with your future in-laws about money.
